One thing an author likes to see is his/her impression on their readers, we are a cup which we like to fill with different kinds of compliments, amazement, appraisment, appreciacion… Et cetera. But I hit the holy grail on that one last week.
I took a week-off to see my loved ones back home, which was a long list. One of the favored ones were my brother’s family. His teenage kid came to me with a stack of papers, filled with words of his own, and he told me that he wants me to tell him what I think… I knew all along that he is a fan of my fiction thriller novel, and that he had enjoyed reading all the 423 pages in a couple of weeks, during his exams period (which in a way I feel guilty about). But to inspire him to unleash his own imagination was the best reward I received for writing my novel, giving the next generation the spark to go fill their own cup. I hope with all my heart he will be a great writer, better than his own uncle… God bless you Kiddo.
Beautiful!
It is… it made me proud
That is very exciting. I think I would take a picture too. Congrats!
Thank you, you are too kind.

thanks Ahamin for your support. Reading about your nephew i remembered something i read by the linguist and teacher (professor) George Steiner. He said:’the best teacher (which can also in my opinion mean writer, artist, poet) can only lead his student to the doorstep of his imagination.’ Then the student must enter the house on his/her own.
Good writing…heartfelt…thank you. robert
