Best gift for an author

I just received this beautiful gift from my old brother. It’s a Blue and White Porcelain ballpoint pen.

Now, do him the honor of using it..not saving it! Something magical can happen! Right?

I agree. Something tells me that this pen will reveal my greatest ideas. 🙂

Wow, you have such a wonderful brother! That is a beautiful pen, but I have to admit that there’s nothing more inspiring than an empty leather-bound journal. Perfection.

Funny you should say that, because I’ve already received a journal 2 weeks ago. 🙂

Lucky you! It’s a gorgeous pen. My husband surprised me with a Swarovski pen a few months back and I was so happy!! I don’t think anyone other than a writer gets excited over getting a pen.

A Swarovski pen, huh? That is really sweet from him.
I got really excited, it means a lot to me. I may use that pen when I do a book signing 🙂

Good morning! It’s a beautiful pen, and a beautiful gift! There’s something magical about holding a pen and watching the stories flow from its tip onto paper. I hope you’ll not only treasure your brother’s gift, but use it on a regular basis!

I have nominated you for two blogging awards; the Versatile Blogger Award and the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. For the rules of acceptance, please visit my blog at http://olbigjim.wordpress.com/2013/03/12/and-the-award-goes-to-me/ and then spread the good cheer.

It’s so beautiful, very Ming Dynasty. I would have loved to see close-ups of the design!
