About

This page is dedicated to my new novel, Psychs, a fiction thriller for this new decade.

I was born in Iraq, lived most of my life in Kuwait and studied in Emirates and Egypt. I had started to take interest in writing after I gave some ideas to a group of students in Emirates who were discussing  themes and concepts for their movie, and then I became more involved after I had my first responses from my beloved ones.

I hope my fantasy would find its way to you, and I wish it would touch you in a way…

sincerely,

A. H. Amin

Oh thank you, you are too kind. I had a nice chat too.
We authors have that connection… we share that soul and the quest of giving it a form.
Best of luck with your work, hope to hear from you more

    Same to you!

Your blog looks interesting 🙂 And you’ve studied here in the emirates? Did you study creative writing? I ask because I am looking for places where I can do it here 🙂

    • ahamin · June 15, 2012

      Hello Ashley
Thanks for liking my blog… Well, no, I started dentistry there, I discovered writing there… I wish I can tell you where in Emirates, but I don’t know exactly where, though I’m sure there are very good places in there with good potentials.
But until you find one… here’s my advice I give to all… read alot, be patient, and… oh… write write write and write some more… The best author in the world could be out there, and we may never hear of her/him, because she/he is too lazy to sit down and write.
      Best of luck
      A. H. Amin

Thanks for that insightful comment Amin 🙂
That’s true writing is the only way to be a writer. Most of my story on my blog was written after a hard day’s work, when I was extremely tired, pushing one’s limit is the only way to do it. So are you a dentist?

      • ahamin · June 15, 2012

I’m glad you took the initiative, I’ll try to check your blog when I can.
I’m in my senior year, yes… What about you?

      • ashleypatterson21 · June 15, 2012

I am working here, I have finished uni about 3 years ago 🙂

      • ahamin · June 15, 2012

Oh that’s nice. I worked as a salesman in Kuwait for a while before I decided to go back to uni… That is good, working gives you ppl skills and helps with dialogue, it did even more with me.
For my curiosity, what do you do there for a living? 🙂

      • ashleypatterson21 · June 15, 2012

Wow, I admire that you went back to uni again 🙂 I do sales for a govt firm here 🙂

      • ahamin · June 15, 2012

Well there you go… you are soldiering yourself to becoming a good author 🙂

I would like to wish you plenty of successes in your future writing endeavours. Thank you for stopping by my blog, Whimsically Yours, and liking my post, BOOKTOBERFEST! http://whimsicallyours.com/2012/10/02/booktoberfest/. It’s always great to connect with a fellow writer 🙂

    • ahamin · October 3, 2012

It sure is, the digital world had made our planet smaller and allowed us to share our piece of minds with others. 🙂

  9. jessicamjonas · October 12, 2012

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m glad you liked it, and I hope to see you back. I love how WordPress illustrates the communal side of writing, and I’m always glad to meet other writers.

    • ahamin · October 12, 2012

I think the same way… it is amazing how the digital world managed to bring scattered thoughts into one tank. I liked dropping by and see different pieces of minds on my screen.
      Happy writing.

thanks for viewing my NOTHING BLACK BUT A CADILLAC blog. Years ago, it sold 60,000 copies in hard and soft cover, published by Putnam’s and Berkley. Rights have reverted to me and it’s on its second wind. Another book of mine, MY BROTHER’S ELASTIC WINKLE, by Raymond Spence is on Barnes and Noble dot com as a Nook Book. If you’ve got a moment, give it a search. If nothing else you might enjoy looking at the cover! LOL. regards raymond

Hi Ahamin! It’s a long time since I got any notice of your post. How are you doing? I was waiting for Your second book of the Psychic series. You got busy with your cartoons. I hope and wish you are doing fine. All the best.

    • ahamin · April 27

Hello Indira! Long time indeed. I hope you are doing well. The second book has been out since a long time. I have been working on many projects lately, and haven’t been posting much on WordPress. Thinking of going back to it inshallah.
I should be traveling soon, but when I’m back I’ll try to find a way to deliver my book to you.
      Best,
      Ahmed
